Celebrating the Completion of Two 50 States Marathon Journeys

Congratulations to Olivia Medina for achieving her 50 State Finish. Kudos also to Cade Remsburg, who completed his 50 States six times, finishing with only three races not under four hours. Traffic Tamed, Finish Claimed: Adani Ahmedabad Marathon 2025

Sivabalan Pandian, a 67-year-old participant, completed the Adani Ahmedabad Marathon on November 30, 2025, with a time of 6:29:55. The event was distinguished by comprehensive traffic control and ample support from organizers and medical staff. He plans to participate again, highlighting its safety and support for runners, including first-timers.

Inaugural Phoenix Marathon Recap

Stefanie Holliday, identified by her codes MM14386, DA3313, and HF17442, completed the inaugural Phoenix Marathon. She enjoyed the experience of racing alongside fellow participants, particularly sharing a mile with Keenan. However, the heat was challenging for her, given her acclimatization to cold weather in Breckenridge, Colorado. Meet Club Member: Sam Friedman

Sam Friedman, after completing 11 marathons, aimed to run in all 50 states to avoid training. However, a knee injury and heat exhaustion challenged him during various races. After recovery, he managed about 35 marathons yearly. He completed his goal at the 2017 Route 66 Marathon, feeling triumphant and aiming for a second round.

Reaching An Epic Milestone: 700th Marathon and 9th 50 State Finish

Clyde Shank (MM1383) celebrated completing his 700th full marathon and achieving his 9th round of finishing marathons in all 50 states. He completed the MainlyMarathons New England Series, running 11 marathons in 11 days. The final course featured asphalt with rolling hills, experiencing mid-50s temperatures and light rain along the way.

At 51, Roger Macmillan began his running journey after being inspired by a friend. Over 15 years, he completed numerous races, eventually running his first marathon at 68. Joining the Marathon Maniacs, he appreciated community support while enjoying various marathons. In total, he completed 115 marathons, cherishing each experience.
