In 2024, I experienced a remarkable year despite facing challenges, including a stress fracture that forced me to cancel races. I completed the Great Wall Marathon, enriched by the support of my future wife. I also participated in the historic Olympic Games Paris Marathon and qualified for the World Marathon Majors Championship in Sydney.

Running the Abandoned Turnpike: A Unique Experience at the End of the Road Half Marathon

The End of the Road Half Marathon and 4 Miler featured an out-and-back course through abandoned Pennsylvania turnpike tunnels. Participants faced rough terrain and complete darkness in the tunnels, requiring headlamps. Randy Riley improved his pace, eventually securing first in his age group, highlighting the race’s unique challenges and low-key atmosphere.
