The event grew from under 5,000 to over 30,000 participants, featuring a scenic yet challenging course, excellent crowd support, and strong organization. Despite missing his 4:30 goal, he achieved his best time since 2024.

Dani Shown had a fantastic marathon experience in Tokyo, enjoying great support from his sons. Despite the heat during the race, the organization and local support were outstanding. He appreciated the welcoming nature of Japan and the beautiful views from Tokyo Tower. Although sad to leave, he looks forward to future visits.
