Celebrating the Completion of Two 50 States Marathon Journeys

Congratulations to Olivia Medina for achieving her 50 State Finish. Kudos also to Cade Remsburg, who completed his 50 States six times, finishing with only three races not under four hours. Kicking Off 2026 Strong: State 47 Las Cruces Half Marathon

Sheri Fulton Camp completed her first race of the year at the State 47 Las Cruces Half Marathon, marking her 13th state in her third round and her 240th lifetime half marathon. The flat out-and-back course featured scenic views of pecan orchards and the Rio Grande River. Runners enjoyed a track finish, which was easier than gravel. After a weekend off, Sheri plans to participate in the RNR Arizona, which includes a 5k and a half marathon.

Joy Was Spread at Rehoboth

Nicole DeBord achieved a significant milestone by completing her 39th marathon at the Rehoboth Beach Marathon. She expressed joy from the positive interactions with fellow runners and the breathtaking sight of migrating geese. Despite the challenges, she feels blessed to have run 10 full marathons this year. As she prepares for her 40th marathon next weekend, she encourages women to embrace solo travel, highlighting the empowerment it brings. Overall, her experience reflects gratitude and determination in pursuing her goals.

Crushing Louisiana’s Loup Garou: First Female for State #50

Elissa Schoening completed her goal of running in all 50 states on December 6, 2025, at the Loup Garou Trail Run in Louisiana, where she also secured first place among female participants in the 40-mile event. She praised the event and encouraged others to attend next year before it concludes.

Meet Club Member: Sam Friedman

Sam Friedman, after completing 11 marathons, aimed to run in all 50 states to avoid training. However, a knee injury and heat exhaustion challenged him during various races. After recovery, he managed about 35 marathons yearly. He completed his goal at the 2017 Route 66 Marathon, feeling triumphant and aiming for a second round.
