Jun Ulama (MM12617) “Marathon no. 333 is officially in the books! 👍🏽
It’s been 10 years and 7 months since I joined the Marathon Maniacs in March 2016 after finishing my 7th and 8th lifetime marathons, iykyk. Back then, I figured I’d run a few more… apparently, I took “a few” a little too seriously! 🥴
I’m so grateful to still be doing what I love after all these years, even with a few major bumps along the way, including my near-fatal cycling accident at Ironman Wisconsin in 2019 and a total knee replacement in 2022. It hasn’t always been an easy road, but being able to keep showing up and running means more to me than ever.
To celebrate, I wore my very first Maniac singlet today. Over 10 years later, it still fits comfortably! The knee may have needed replacing, but apparently the singlet is built for the long haul. 😂
Here’s hoping #333 gets me into the Maniac Hall of Fame! Either way, I’m thankful for every mile, every finish line, and everyone who’s been part of the journey. 😊”
