To attain this recognition with the Half Fanatics, runners must either complete 52 half marathons within a year or finish 30 half marathons across different locations within that same timeframe. Faith, Fight, and Finish: Natalie Uyeno’s Ultramarathon #3 Journey

Natalie Uyeno completed her third lifetime ultramarathon, a challenging 32.5 miles at the Silver Moon race, despite undergoing chemotherapy for metastatic breast cancer. Struggling with blisters and physical pain, she persevered, finishing just under the time limit. Grateful for support from friends and prayers, she celebrated her achievement with tears of joy.

Gregory Rouson serves as the regional ambassador for the Washington DC Metro Area. He began running marathons in 2013, initially intending only to race half marathons. Rouson completed the 50 States Half Marathon Challenge by 2021 and aims to achieve his final Abbott World Marathon Majors star at the Boston Marathon.
