Brian Johnson(MM8807, DA707, HF7287) – My thoughts on the Cap City Half Marathon weekend.
This year I chose to run it as a participant instead of pacing it. I had a lot of fun.
I was also able to help coordinate, with quite a lot of help from Deborah Coleman, a meet-up weekend for the Half Fanatics run club at the race.
Today was a chance to run. Take it easy. Enjoy the sights and experiences. I was able to see a lot of friends, make new friends, and help others out along the way.
My time was way slower that I am used to for a half, but after last weekends ruck march, I knew that might happen.
The after party was fun.
It was a fun weekend. Now, its time to rest before I start the craziness again.
