Danzig Maraton 2026 Race Report – Flat Course, Paving Stones & Windchill

Alexis Davidson(MM926) – Walked the Danzig Maraton yesterday. Dreary 46-51F windchills. Went with one long sleeve layer on top. Course was a loop with 3 embedded out/backs. Mostly asphalt with 3K paving stones in the old town and 3K hard pack in Ronald Reagan Park. Celebrating the Completion of Two 50 States Marathon Journeys

Congratulations to Olivia Medina for achieving her 50 State Finish. Kudos also to Cade Remsburg, who completed his 50 States six times, finishing with only three races not under four hours. Meet Club Member: Tonisia Billups

Tonisia, a former sedentary taxi mom, began her fitness journey after becoming an empty nester in 2012. Through running and a supportive community, she completed numerous races, including marathons on all seven continents. Despite a recent hip injury, she aims to run all 50 states, adapting her goals to a new pace.
