Meet Club Member: Sam Friedman

Sam Friedman, after completing 11 marathons, aimed to run in all 50 states to avoid training. However, a knee injury and heat exhaustion challenged him during various races. After recovery, he managed about 35 marathons yearly. He completed his goal at the 2017 Route 66 Marathon, feeling triumphant and aiming for a second round.

From Marbles to Miles: Conquering 100K at Blood Run

Scott Pearson participated in the Blood Run, a 24-hour race aimed at completing as many 1.5-mile loops as possible. Initially targeting 50 miles, he and friend Sara pushed themselves to complete a 100k, finishing with just 20 minutes remaining.
