Gina Forestieri Triumphs at Groom Creek Classic
Gina Forestieri completed the first half of the Groom Creek Classic in Prescott, AZ, earning first place in her age group. Although slower than usual due to challenging elevation and terrain, she successfully navigated the race. Gina noted the need for better hill training for future half marathons.
Oslo Marathon Complete: One Down, Three to Go! Ready for Berlin Next!
Lynne Kilirnr completed the Oslo marathon and is preparing for three more marathons in four weeks. Despite enjoying perfect weather and supportive volunteers, she faced challenges, including tricky cobblestones and aggressive half marathoners who impeded her pace. She managed to finish just in time and is now focusing on recovery before the Berlin marathon.
