Victoria Park Half Marathon

Katina Green recently completed her 86th half marathon at Victoria Park in London during a holiday in the U.K. Despite rainy weather and heavy downpours, she persevered and finished the 13.1 miles. The supportive race coordinators helped improve the experience on a challenging race day.

Pascal Radley (MM2051) successfully completed the Tokyo Marathon, marking significant milestones in his running journey: his 6th World Marathon Major, 7th Marathon Continent, 12th Marathon Country, and 460th lifetime marathon. Run the Line Half-Marathon

Jennifer Clark recounts her experience at the Race For Hope in Lufkin, TX, held as a fundraiser for cancer patients. The event featured various race distances with about 250 participants. While well-organized with enthusiastic volunteers and ample aid stations, Clark noted safety concerns and navigation issues on the open course for inexperienced runners.

At the Mesa Marathon

Gysel Parajon completed her 64th marathon at the Mesa Marathon, achieving her best time, beating her previous record by 1:30. Despite challenging conditions, including heavy rain and sleep deprivation, she felt great. Gysel credited her success to the supportive community, her outfit, and the lightweight shoes she wore during the race.

Rocky Racoon 100 Trail Race

Rick Albanese shares his experience at the Rocky Raccoon 100 Trail Race, detailing his preparation and challenges faced. He reflects on his initial love for the event, the hardships of a sinus infection in 2022, and his successful 2023 finish despite difficult weather and muddy conditions. Lake Vista Lunatics 6 Hour

Florida Half Marathon Weekend

Amy Seagroves completed two half marathons in Florida: #114 at Ave Maria, a smaller race with around 80 participants, and #115 at Publix Florida Half with beautiful waterfront views and a larger field. Despite the heat and humidity, both races were well-organized, with a preference for mid-sized events.

Surf City Half Marathon 

Karen Flynn completed her 202nd lifetime half marathon at the Surf City Half Marathon on February 4, 2024. She appreciates the California beach vibe of the race, noting the pleasant winter weather that held off storms, making it ideal for a beautiful morning stroll along the beach.
