Half Fanatics watching the Solar Eclipse after running the Texas Total Solar Eclipse Half! 😎😎😎

Tricia Davis (HF18538) & Aubrey Davis(HF18587) – It’s #MedalMonday, and yesterday Aubrey Davis and I completed the Eugene Oregon Half Marathon. The weather was perfect! The last 4 miles of the course were along the Willamette River, through the nature preserve, and through the woods; and this was absolutely gorgeous! The finish line was on the track inside Hayward Field on the University of Oregon campus. Go Ducks! Our son Shann and our daughter Chavonne both ran track,so we proudly relived their racing days as we ran towards the finish line. This was my 35th Half Marathon and my 25th state. I’m finally halfway to my goal of completing a half marathon in each of the 50 states! Aubrey and I always visit family when we’re in the area. We took the Amtrak from Eugene to Portland to visit my 92 year old Aunt Betty. This was the highlight of our runcation in Oregon.

Teresa Clark Vincent (HF16573) – Half Fanatic 16573 here ~ for
RSD 3247 I ran the Thelma and Louise Trail Half Marathon – this course was tough! Rocks, lots of red dirt, and felt like it was uphill both ways!! Met a lot of great runners before and while on the course. Such a beautiful place!!!
Elevation gain: 1220 ft
Lifetime Half # 48
State # 40
4th half of 2024

Sue Stevens(HF8593, DA2452, MM12891) – Tacoma City Half Marathon on Sunday. Bonus ribbon for 5th in age group.

Heidi Marie Hammond (HF18098) – Glass City with fellow fanatic Natasha from Memphis. My 10 year anniversary of half marathons and my lifetime half #120 I Run4 Luke

Sheila Wyatt (HF18809) – Not a half but had to try it once. My 1st and only full. I’m definitely a halfer 😂

Gina Forestieri(HF18136) – Tacoma city half in Washington…

Ryan Slight(HF377, DA68, MM904) – Ran my sixth Frisco Railroad Half Marathon in Willard, Missouri. First place age group. 73rd half marathon.

Krista Shuler (HF18241) – Siesta Half Marathon, on Sunday (almost got rained out) We had a delayed start.

Deborah Coleman(HF10247) – Rochester Flower City Challenge 1/2 marathon in Rochester, NY state #36 for me! Great race!

James Waddell- HF4476) – Derby Mini Half marathon

Jenny Steen (HF1543) – Top City Half Marathon in Topeka, KS

Michael Hall (HF16228, DA3242, MM14514) – 15 minute rain delay but then I Time Travel(ed) look I am in a 2016 Route 66 shirt but no it’s 4-28-24 in Tulsa on the Riverside Trail. First in AG, of course the only one in my age group.

Tiffany TK(HF18768) – So….. This happened today 😊😊
I have to do the math but I may be close this year to hitting sun (I have MANY more states to go this year and may hit the 30)

Vicki Sue Merry (HF67, DA23, MM888)– I did the Trillium Trek half marathon in Gainesville, GA on 27 April. It was a trail event, and while not one I’d call particularly “technical” it was HILLY. No finisher medals – instead we got a set of Pelaton resistance bands. BUT I did snag the 1st Place Female 60-69 award – which was this medal.

Sue Stevens – Apologies that it didn’t work out for a big group Fanatics/Maniacs photo at Tacoma City yesterday. I was at the start line at 7, but things were more hectic than I’d envisaged. Here I am with fellow fanatics Keith Collingwood and Gina Forestieri

Katina Green (HF12236,, MM15380, DA3564) – MedalMonday…Half Marathon #88 did not go as expected at my favorite hometown racing event by Go! St. Louis. While it was great to see several of my running buddies pre-race, on the course and afterwards, I unfortunately was suffering from severe hip and hamstring pain that became excruciating while racing. I contemplated pulling out the race several times and taking a DNF, but was able to finish my running with a focused mind of matter mentality. The race was a great downtown course that ran through the St. Louis Arch, Busch Stadium, Anheuser Busch, as well as other city highlights

Heather Broyles (HF18438) – Medal Monday ~ GE Appliance Derby Festival Mini Marathon in Louisville KY

Rachel Ross (HF6506) – My latest 46 half marathon medals are finally up. Thank you,
Tera Gibb, for the beautiful medal holder. To be clear, I have not run 500 half marathons. I had her put that on with an eye toward the future.

Jennifer Clark (HF16743, DA3643,MM15623), & David Clark(HF4529)
Medal Monday!!
Half # 279 – 283 in the books
It was a Mainly Marathon kind of week. We had planned to do Arkansas and Mississippi parts of the MM Riverboat Series. Half Marathon in Lake Village AR on Tuesday and then one in Hollandale MS on Wednesday! David went home and I went on to Millington TN for day 4 of the Riverboat Series.
Next on our agenda was the Skyline Half in Dallas on Saturday on which I was supposed to be a pacer. However, the major threat of severe storms caused the race to cancel Friday morning!
We knew our friend Paula Doust was going to be at one of the Riverboat races and we thought… “maybe we could do Missouri and Illinois Saturday and Sunday!” But David really needed to work some on the weekend, so we thought… “Nah… better not.”
2:00pm Friday afternoon, David called from the office and said, “Pack the car!” We were off to Cape Girardeau MO and Vienna IL.
An extra benefit was that Sunday, David and I were awarded for running our 50th Mainly Marathon race!

Khasmir Price-Aye(HF5145) – #medalmonday
This past Saturday I completed my 99th Lifetime Half Marathon in the repeat state of Oklahoma. The Golden Driller Marathon is a small race in Tulsa. The same city as Route 66. This race is completely on a paved trail alongside the Arkansas River. It’s mostly flat with a few rolling hills. Plenty of water stops with snacks, Gatorade, pickle juice and Nuun. I haven’t run a half since December 2023 and I felt it afterwards. I used this race as training for next Sunday’s Half in Rochester, NY which will be my 50th state and 100th Half Marathon.

Jules Mann (HF4294, DA475, MM3509) & Mihaela Mann.(HF4295, DA832, MM9676) –
medalmonday #halffanatics Fanatics #4294 and #4295 checking in from Mt. Si Relay & Trail Runs where we completed out 131st (mine) and 127th (her’s) half marathons!

Sameer Khurana (HF15807, DA2835, MM13642) – Badger Cove Half Marathon in Livermore, CA! Tough trail race with total elevation of around 2400 feet. 10th Half of 2024 and 89th overall!

Enid Crawford (HF11285) – Garmin Oz Half Marathon did not disappoint I left all on the pavement another PR by 10 seconds over my last race two weeks ago RTP. Can’t believe another race under 2:30.

Mark Jennings(HF13602) – Gorgeous Back2Back Half Marathons this past weekend! Newport, RI. on Sat. Then Rehoboth Beach, DE. On Sunday. I recommend both for great scenery, and well organized. Rehoboth had better post event food, shopping, and local free parking. Newport used shuttle buses, and used 10 year age brackets. (10th place)😫 (I would’ve gotten 2nd place if they used 5 year like most others). But, I did grab 3rd place age group at Rehoboth by 0.6 seconds!! Overall a great race/vacation, but East Coast traffic does really suck.

Krista Shuler (HF18241) – Monday: Texas Total Solar Eclipse Half Marathon.
