PR at the TCS London Marathon

Amy Hall (HF16519) – Oh what a day!!! I PRD AT THE TCS London Marathon!! 3:46:59 – I was hoping to finish a little faster but the course was crowded which made keeping my pace difficult. I could not have done this without the support of my family who support my crazy habit, my friends who join me on some grueling training runs with smiles and encouragement, my amazing coaches who kept me focused and on track, and Shea Rogers at Baton Rouge Physical Therapy-Lake and Brenner at Trifecta Sports Therapy who keep me and my “wittle wegs” healthy and happy. It truly takes a village.
I’m still pinching myself. To think I went from not being able to walk without pain a year ago to running a marathon at an 8:34 average pace…WOW!!!
Overall I felt great until the last mile…according to my friends that is how a PR is supposed to feel 😂🤣😂
And a special shout out to all the people who were on my pray list…I’m truly honored you let me “bring” you with me on this journey. Words cannot express how much all of you helped me during this amazing race.
I cannot say enough about Destination Marathons. This company anticipated all our needs and even gave us a warm spot to sit while we waited to get into our corrals. I cannot wait to travel with them again 💕
