Finishing the LA Marathon

Surf City Half Marathon 

Karen Flynn completed her 202nd lifetime half marathon at the Surf City Half Marathon on February 4, 2024. She appreciates the California beach vibe of the race, noting the pleasant winter weather that held off storms, making it ideal for a beautiful morning stroll along the beach.

Celebrating 300 Lifetime Half Marathons at the Surf City Half

Natalie Uyeno celebrated her 300th half marathon at the Surf City Half in Huntington Beach, CA. Although battling Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer slowed her down, she finished with support from friends celebrating their milestones. She cherishes the encouragement from her running community, reflecting on her incredible journey since 2017.

Double Half Marathon Weekend in Southern California

Amy Seagroves completed a double half marathon weekend in Southern California, participating in the San Diego Resolution Run and the Disneyland Half Marathon. While enjoying perfect weather, she found the first race pleasant but crowded in the later stages. The Disney race offered great entertainment but suffered from overcrowding and chaotic aid stations.
