Mississippi Gulf Coast Marathon: A Windy, Wonderful Adventure
Karen Murray Anderson and Glen Anderson completed the Mississippi Gulf Coast Marathon, battling wind along the scenic coastline from Pass Christian to Biloxi. Despite challenges such as unexpected rain and strong winds, they enjoyed the experience of running with friends and soaking in beautiful views, celebrating their achievement and future adventures.
Fall Classic Half Marathon: A Flat, Fast Course and a Personal Victory
Randy Riley participated in the Fall Classic Half Marathon in Strongsville, OH, a flat and wide course perfect for all runners. He achieved a personal best time of 2:25:42, completing the second half faster than the first. Riley finished first in his age group, marking his 21st half marathon of the year.

The Hell of a Half marathon in Exeter, CA, on 8/7/21 was challenging due to heat and hills. The race featured excellent course support with multiple aid stations, but blisters forced a slow finish. Despite the difficulties, camaraderie, post-race festivities, and overall experience made it worthwhile. Medal and swag were highlights.
