Over 32 months, she faced various challenges but learned that persistence and the will to continue were key. Her experiences taught her that it’s never too late to start, emphasizing that every step counts, regardless of the pace.

Mississippi River Marathon Recap– New Finish, Vintage Carousel & Delta Delights!

Jennifer Clark shares her experience at the annual Mississippi River Marathon in Greenville, Mississippi. This local race features a full marathon starting in Arkansas and a half marathon across the bridge, both finishing in Greenville. This year, the finish line was moved to the E.E. Bass Cultural Arts Center due to changes in the course configuration. Clark enjoyed the new location, which allowed for socializing and a unique ride on a historic Merry-Go-Round. The event featured food and camaraderie with fellow runners, marking her 383rd half marathon.

On the Road to 1000 Marathons; From Tropical Mumbai to Hamburg’s Icy Trails

Sivabalan Pandian, a 67-year-old marathoner, achieved remarkable feats in 2025, completing 119 full and ultra marathons across seven countries despite a chronic shoulder issue. In January 2026, he faced the challenge of running four marathons on snow and ice in Hamburg, Germany, with temperatures around -15°C. Despite the difficult conditions and new equipment, he finished each marathon in under 10 hours. Pandian encourages all runners to embrace challenges and prepare adequately for success in adverse conditions.

Dam-to-Bridge Domination: Redding Marathon Feels Right

Gysel Parajon reflects on running the Redding Marathon after missing it the previous year due to an injury. Excited to finally tackle the course, she felt energized and elated while running alongside other participants. Despite experiencing discomfort in her glutes and hamstrings around mile 15, she realized her improvement in running as walking caused more pain. Gavin Anderson shares his inspiring journey from skepticism to passion for running half marathons. He completed his first half marathon in 2015, overcoming tendinitis, and became addicted to the challenge. Celebrating his heritage, he now runs in Scottish attire and recently completed his 50th half marathon, continuing to inspire others.

Chasing Stars: Devesh Khatu’s Sydney Marathon Adventure

Devesh Khatu completed his second Sydney Marathon, marking his 157th overall, with a strong race experience unlike his first in 2015. The event grew from under 5,000 to over 30,000 participants, featuring a scenic yet challenging course, excellent crowd support, and strong organization. Despite missing his 4:30 goal, he achieved his best time since 2024.

50K Success at the Westfield Ultra

Alexis Davidson completed the MissionCleanWater Westfield Ultra, choosing the 9-hour option to aim for a 50K. The weather was favorable, with temperatures between 69-80°F. He maintained a strong pace initially but slowed down due to foot fatigue. His final times were 6:49:36 for the 50K and 6:51:32 for 31.2 miles.

Nikki Carden’s journey began with running to lose weight and keep up with her husband. After completing her first 5K, she discovered a passion for the sport. Balancing motherhood with training, she has tackled various races, including a 50-mile ultramarathon, and aims to qualify for the Boston Marathon. Running transformed her mindset and confidence.

300 Half Marathons and Counting
