A Good Day on the Downhill: Pacing Jack & Jill for the 12th Time
Aaron Stevens completed the second day of the Jack and Jill’s Downhill Marathon, successfully pacing at 4:45 and finishing in 4:44:28. He supported runners throughout the race, helping a few to finish ahead of him. This marked Stevens’ 12th time pacing this marathon and was part of his 112th overall marathon, making it his fastest combined time for two marathons in a weekend at 9 hours. He has now run the same marathon course 12 times.
Bad Bass Half Marathon Recap: “Probably Killed a Few Toenails”
Lynne Kilirnr recently completed the Bad Bass half marathon, a challenging course featuring steep hills. To meet two crucial checkpoints, she started early, taking her time to enjoy the scenery despite suffering from sore knees and some toenail damage. Prior to the race, she had been helping her mother recover from a fall, which contributed to her own back pain. Ultimately, she enjoyed running alongside her friend Chau Smith and participating in the event after volunteering to help set up.
