Running Through Bayou Bliss: Jennifer Clark’s Louisiana Marathon Adventure

Jennifer Clark shares her experience at the Louisiana Marathon in Baton Rouge, her favorite race. The event, featuring a 5k and half/full marathons, captured the vibrant Southern spirit of the area. Despite cold conditions, the race offered a spirited atmosphere with enthusiastic local support, aid stations, and unique stops along the course.

Team Woody at the Richmond Half Marathon

The Richmond Half Marathon was a delightful experience for Woody Michaux, who enjoyed interacting with friends, petting dogs, and receiving fist bumps along the course. Special thanks were given to Mary Beth Hall and Amanda Scoville for joining, along with Pam Holland Hunter for providing Fireball. The running community’s support was greatly appreciated.

Team Woody Rocks the End of the Road Half Marathon

Team Woody, consisting of Kim and Woody Michaux, enjoyed the End of the Road Half Marathon along the abandoned Pennsylvania turnpike. They expressed gratitude to Debbie Roberts for her support during the race, especially on uphill sections. The course featured two lengthy tunnels, totaling 5 miles, enhancing the experience. Woody had a great time.
