Amy Seagroves Completes Half Marathon #148 at the Beneva Montreal Half

Amy Seagroves completed the Beneva Montreal Half in Quebec, marking her progress in the Canadian Provinces series. The race featured about 10,000 half-marathon participants and a mostly flat, scenic city course. She encountered some small hills and met the Montreal Canadiens mascot, despite their rivalry with Boston. Highly recommended for city race enthusiasts.

Although slower than usual due to challenging elevation and terrain, she successfully navigated the race. Gina noted the need for better hill training for future half marathons.

Amy Seagroves Completes Double Weekend: Bird-in-Hand Half and Fast Racefaster Half

Amy Seagroves completed two half marathons over the weekend. The Bird-in-Hand race in PA featured a beautiful course through Amish country with farm animals and a vegetarian-friendly picnic. The Racefaster Half in NJ was a no-frills event with basic aid stations, but offered good running conditions. Overall, both races provided unique experiences.

Nebraska State Fair Half Marathon

Michelle Migneault Cox completed her 124th half marathon at the Nebraska State Fair Marathon. Despite walking most of the last 3-4 miles, she did better than expected and enjoyed the fair after the race. She aims to improve her time, as her past results show. Michelle also witnessed the birth of baby animals at the fair.

Rapid City Half Marathon

The race course, although initially confusing, offered a shaded finish area, but the heat proved challenging. Mannetta suggested improved parking arrangements, preferring to avoid shuttling. Despite this, the experience connected her with inspiring fellow runners.
