Sadie Smith(MM12709) –What a fantastic weekend for a marathon! Marshall University puts on such a great race, and I’d recommend this fast, friendly course to anyone and everyone. We had picture perfect weather, and for the first time in quite a while, my race didn’t feel like work. (I genuinely enjoyed all 26 miles, which is so much nicer than hating my life for the last sixty minutes.) Super- excited to see Elizabeth Arnott’s 2nd place female finish in her 48th state and Lindsey Elste’s successful return to marathoning post- injury.
