Jolanta Thorburn (MM15959, DA3742, HF18464)-State no. 46 – Arkansas 📍Lifetime Half Marathon no. 76
It was a quick trip to Conway via Little Rock, Arkansas for me this weekend to run the City of Collages Half this morning.
The half marathon distance went through the city and into the countryside with the start/finish line located on the University of Central Arkansas campus. It was another beautiful fall day 🍁
Although not a large-scale event, it was well-organized, with a police and marshal presence on the course, and the hydration stations were well supplied and plenty of volunteers.
I love the unique, spinning medal! 🏅 Many students participated in costumes, as the theme was TOGA.
As I had previously visited Arkansas during our road trip while moving from Florida to Washington State, where we explored the historic Fort Smith and hiked in the Ozark National Forest, I opted for a shorter trip this time, also eager to return home to care for our recovering pup who is 3 days post-surgery and needs my love and cuddles 🥰
Thank you Arkansas! Missouri is next!
