Running the Rock n Roll Arizona Half

I had a great time completing the Rock n Roll Arizona 5k and Half Marathon this weekend. Half #34 and state #22 for me! A little stressful ahead of time when I found out that they didn’t complete the transfer of my registration from the canceled Atlantic City race…. but they resolved the issue and I was able to do both races. Really pretty sunrise for the 5k and rainy for the first several miles of the half but a lot warmer than it was at home in NY! It was a scenic course, lots of music and I enjoyed the Bruce Springsteen tribute band playing in the park afterwards. My only regret is had I rented a car, it would have been easier to explore more of the area, but there’s always next time 😀
