Team Woody at the Marine Corps Marathon

Kim Michaux (HF16698) & Woody Michaux (HF18452)

We beat the bridge and finished Marine Corps Marathon!! First full marathon ever for me and 2nd for Woody Michaux! Woohoo!!

We had perfect weather, really beautiful course, so many Marines, tons of help and support from so many friends and an absolutely great time!

Lots of people loaned Woody their legs today – Margaret Moon helped push Woody, paced us and kept me that we need to “run” the run intervals if we want to beat the bridge! (I may not have acted thankful while she was reminding me!) Betsy White & Malerie Anderson also lent Woody their legs and helped us get to the finish line. A huge thanks to you all! #TeamWoody!

Coaches and runners from Marathon Training Team drove up from Richmond to cheer us & all the RVA runners! It was amazing to see them in several spots on the course!! And even more amazing, they jumped in to help push Woody at perfect times!! Woody was beyond excited to see them on the course!!

Thank you to everyone who helped has get this far and complete a MARATHON!!!!

As usual, I’m horrible at taking and remembering to take photos and almost none of the below photos are mine!.
