Finishing 200 at the Adirondack

Congratulations to Kerri Haskins(MM1336, DA836, HF8724), She recently completed her 200th marathon or ultra marathon at the Adirondack Marathon this past weekend in New York. This was a journey a few years in the making. Per Kerri, she started this journey in Oct 2006.

From Kerri: 200th marathon or ultra done!! Baystate Marathon (Mass.)will be the local celebration at #202 (actually have an ultra next weekend). Did the early start for this one at 7 AM. 1600 feet of elevation gain. This one was really tough and I was tired. Really hilly 1st half and more hills 2nd half. At 13.1 I went through the half marathon start just in nick of time before those runners started. All runners cheered my 200th there. I saw Casey Caroll from NH run by me in the marathon around mile 17, he was moving. He came in 4th at 3:04. Then at 20 lots of teenagers at a Bible camp at different points cheering the runners on. At that point I think I needed God’s help 🙂 And yes I told alot of people along the course this was my 200th marathon.

Great long sleeve zip technical shirt for the finish. Those who placed got a big or small handcarved bear. Except for the hills highly recommended:) Got the announcer call it out at the end and then started raining ..Lots of finish food from snacks, soda, cookies, brownies, coffee and fruit. Also beer tent for those that drink.
