Barbara Rausch (HF16197 MM14998 DA3530) – ๐ปโ๏ธ๐ปโ๏ธ๐ปโ๏ธ I really donโt know what to say. ๐ฅฐ After 2020 derailed my quest for the Half Fanatic Sun Level, I honestly didnโt think I would gain the momentum to run 52 half marathons in 365 days again.
I wasnโt 100% sure races would be a go because of ๐ฆ restrictions in CA. Many of my races were in WA, NV, and AZ.
Well, Saturday, July 30, was number 52 in 365 days. ๐ฅณ๐ฅณ๐ฅณ Last year on 7/31, I ran Brazen Racingโs Summer Breeze and yesterday, I ran the same race again for number 52 in 365 days. It really did seem appropriate that the Summer Breeze race was my 1st and 52nd in my quest for Sun.
Their Bay Breeze race in February was my first ever half marathon in February 2016 and my 100th in February 2022.
This wasnโt planned, but Brazen Racing has been a huge part of my life the last seven years that I was glad to reach my goals with them. I have also met so many great friends and I want to thank them all for the wonderful support and cheering. It really means a lot. Thank you to my husband for always being my supporter and driving all over the West Coast the past year. ๐ Thanks always to everyone on course that always call out my name and say Hi. Love it all. Running and walking keeps you strong and healthy, but so do all the friends. HF16197 MM14998 DA3530. A little side note, I used to weigh over 300lbs in 2010. I lost 150lbs and have kept it off. If I can be a success, anyone can. ๐ฅฐ
I forgot to add that this was half marathon number 130.
