State#11 Half#17
Had a great time this weekend completing the Elk Double Challenge with Vacation Races at the Rocky Mountain Half Marathon! If you haven’t done a race with them yet, I highly recommend it!! The 5k was around Estes Lake and I was so happy the thunderstorms cleared out and they were able to start the race after a delayed! Not an easy course for the half marathon, not prepared for those hills, but the scenery was gorgeous and a friend joined me for the race so it was a really awesome event. Exploring the park was a lot of fun too with driving all over, seeing lots of elk and a moose, and hikes to Sky Pond and Dream Lake.
