Aaron Stevens(MM14034) –I had a fantastic time pacing the Marine Corps Marathon (aka “the people’s marathon”) today. I had a very large group at 4:55, and came in right on schedule at 4:54:27. This is also the best that I’ve felt after a marathon all year, which is really satisfying. I saw several friends on the run and made some new ones and I loved helping 2 first time marathoners who stuck with me to finish strong. Just a great day overall.
This was my 2nd MCM, my 2nd marathon in Virginia, my 13th marathon of 2024, 41st marathon as a pacer, and my 79th marathon overall.
