Meghan O’Gorman (HF14020) – Medal Monday!
Saturday was the Inaugural Oktoberfest Half in Irving, TX where I celebrated Half Marathon 150. Well organized and great after party. Temps were still in the mid 90s so it got warm quickly. The route was majority on a flat trail where I run on weekly, so I am very familiar with the course. Aid stations were plentiful, we even ran by a section where there were a lot of dogs!
After party was great! Big pretzels with cheese, beer, poka music, German outfits, picture stations.
