Carla Simon (MM14304, DA3133, HF13789) – Am still alive and moving have to say that because ran/walked and finished the Maritime full marathon in Manitowoc Wisconsin this morning. Not sure which one is correct or if my watch messed up but watch got me finishing in around 5 hours 43 minutes but race results said about 5 hours 37 yeah and course according to watch was a little long so who knows a finish is a finish which am happy with because Friday and Saturday had competed in track at Special Olympics State summer games taking gold in 3000 meter run Friday having to compete against a guy who I was able to outsprint at end then Saturday I took gold in shot put and also got bronze in 1500 meter run which isn’t as much of a specialty of mine because am used to starting slow and then if feel good sprinting at end but either way still got a PR in my 1500 with around a 8 minute time. Think rest of today and tomorrow will rest up and see where am at Tuesday.

Eric DeBelly (MM14270) , Carla Stewart (MM1595) and I ran Light at the end of the tunnel marathon in North Bend, WA.

Tricia Davis (HF18538) & Aubrey Davis (HF18587) – It’s #medalmonday and it’s June in Georgia so you just have to run the Hotlanta Half Marathon and 5k in Atlanta! Aubrey Davis and I completed the 5k and placed 1st and 2nd in our age groups, respectively. But, the true highlight of the race for us was being there to witness our friend Charlene Mercer Board complete her 100th half marathon! Congratulations
Charlene! We enjoyed hanging out with Charlene and her family and with our friend Anita Burns and others who also completed the Hotlanta Half Marathon. #HF18538 #HF18587

Katie Galvin (MM15882, DA3721, HF18478) – State#24 and half#39 this weekend at the Shipyard Old Port Half Marathon. It was such a pretty area and running along the water was nice. But saving most of the hills for the last 3.5 miles wasn’t so fun lol Love the medal and race shirt too. Free pizza and ice cream but they ran out of the free beer before I finished. Visited a bunch of the lighthouses in the area afterwards and great food options in the area. A great race and a great place to visit but make sure you are comfortable finishing under 3:15 for this one!
