Becoming a First Time 50 States Finisher

Congratulations to Kim Minor (MM2634) who finished her first round of 50 states this past weekend at the New England Challenge II in Maine.

From Kim, “Its Medal Monday and I can finally post Vermont and Maine to round out my 50 States. I am FINALLY a 50 STATES FINISHER!”

I AM A 50 STATES FINISHER! Sunday was simply the best Mothers Day ever! The ultimate prize was running the last lap with and crossing the finish line holding the hands of my twin girls!

It has taken me 25 years with some down time to have kids, move to Europe, and get thru the pandemic and recently Ive been struggling with a severe hip and knee injury, but my goal has FINALLY been achieved!

I could never, ever have done it without the love and support of my family. And thank you so much to the race director, volunteers and fellow runners of the New England Challenge II for making it an incredibly special day. I may have completed the goal, but will never be done running. See you all out on the roads!

Congratulations!
