In Canada Running the Chilly Half Marathon

Amy Seagroves (MM15648, DA3652, HF18410) – Today I finished Half #73 and my first Province at the Chilly Half in Burlington, Ontario which is located in between Niagara Falls and Toronto. I was a little worried about getting to the race since there were snowstorms Friday night but the weather cleared up Saturday morning and Sunday had perfect not so chilly running weather. Race was well organized and course is pretty flat and fast. Just some inclines and declines no real hills which is the fastest course for me. Most is an out and back along the lake. I was dealing with a stress fracture last year and am still working to get back to my usual Half Marathon time which is between 2:30 and 2:45. I am setting 5 minute increment goals until I get there and today my goal was 2:55. I managed to run it in 2:54:59 so made my goal by 1 second
