Randy Riley (MM14470, DA3270, HF16432) – My 200th Half Marathon and Novant Health Wilmington NC Marathon and Half Marathon gave me bib #200.
The race starts at Wrightsville Beach, the ocean is right behind us and runs to the river in downtown Wilmington. Thank you to Josie Messoria Sevelius and Jennifer Groth for coming to Wilmington and celebrating with me along with Becca Kagley who was injured and couldn’t run.
Also thanks to Abby Elizabeth who came out to cheer me. PS, Josie is my favorite children’s author and signed my copy of The Most Colorful Butterfly Goes On Vacation (Amazon) for Alessia and Gino. Jennifer and Becca both appear in the book along with Kelly Milam who couldn’t make the trip this year. And a big thank you to Donna Riley for supporting me through all these races!
