(Cleveland, Ohio) Rock Hall Half Marathon / Relay , 5K / 10K. My 4th Half Marathon in 22 days. 24 hours before I was at Sunset Beach NC which is the barrier island that connects NC and SC. 12 hours in the car, 4 hours in bed then up and drive to Cleveland fighting to stay awake in the 5:30 am darkness. The wind coming off Lake Erie was SO cold. I decided to take this one easy and joined the 2:30 pace group. That put me in 4th AG so no award but considering all I’m fine with that. Also don’t have a shirt to show. I pre-registered but they ran out of shirts. Start and finish at the Rock Hall of Fame and a scenic trip through Cleveland. Thanks to Marathonpacing.com pacer Jane Letterhos for passing the miles and Tom Brocco who also ran with us and managed to get bib #1 and although he’s 7 years younger also got a 3rd place AG.
