Running in Fargo

Fargo Marathon, state #47, in the books!👍🏻 Lifetime marathon #58.
The race started inside the Fargodome, so we got to stay warm.😊 I was very surprised I warmed up (I’m a wuss with the cold lol) so quickly; after the first mile, I discarded my “throw-away” sweatshirt”! Temps eventually reached the low 40’s and fortunately, any wind was minor.

We ran through nice neighborhoods, parks & a couple college campuses, with an exciting finish in the Fargodome being shown on the Jumbotron.

Both old & new friends at the race! It was fun spending time with friend Paula Lee! I also saw 2 P/T “snowbird” Arizonans: well known Maniac Pascal Radley, from my local run group & and met for the first time Patti Randall Krebsbach from another local running group. So nice to see Steven Yee, one of the 3 founders & prez of Marathon Maniacs- it’s been some time! At the Fargo airport, I chatted with a few others who also ran and spotted another familiar face, Laura Welch who I met at Bozeman Marathon last yr!
Next month means a new age group for me, 60-64!😊

Next race: Mad Marathon in VT(repeat race & state)in 7 weeks.😊
