Maniacs at the Juneau Marathon

Maniacs & 50 Staters before the start at the Juneau Marathon in Alaska yesterday, 7/31. I know there were others but we started at different times. It was a small (47 marathon finishers & around 80 half marathoners) no-frills race put on by their local run RRCA club. But it was such a beautiful, scenic course !! Snow-capped mountains, glaciers, bald eagles, ravens. No bear encounters since it was all on the Douglas Highway….although the mosquitoes at 6 AM were feasting on us but Ernst saved us all with his bug spray. 🙂
