Jen D’Italia (HF 380)-“On Sunday 4/13/2025 I finished STATE # 50 at the Hapalua Half Marathon in Hawaii!! 🌴🌊
I am from California and I started running halfs in 2010. In 2011 I ran my first out of state half and in 2013 ran my second. Once I did my third out of state half in 2014 it seemed I was on a mission to run the fifty states. From 2014 to 2019 I added another 42 states and had my last four planned in 2020 when the world shut down. I lost interest in racing for a while after 2020, but eventually got back into it, with a modified goal of hitting Sun and Hall of Fame (both accomplished in 2024).
In 2024 I also decided to resume pursuing my last four states and added 3 more. I saved Hawaii for last, concluding my journey in paradise while enjoying a wonderful bit of vacation and relaxation.
No particular goals now, just keep enjoying this wonderful hobby and see where it takes me.”
