Detroit International Half Marathon: A Scenic Journey from Detroit to Windsor!

Greg Hunger(MM15673, DA3666, HF13692) – Epic stuff this morning as I joined a field of over 24,000 runners at the Detroit International Half Marathon.
We started downtown Detroit and ran over the Ambassador Bridge into Windsor, Ontario 🇨🇦.
Had to carry my Passport and border patrol was there to do random checks if they felt it necessary.
After several miles in Canada we ran thru the humid Windsor tunnel back into the US. This section was (they claim) the world’s only underwater mile in a Marathon.
Great fun tackling this with my running buddies from California.
My time wasn’t too shabby either!
