Crossing the Finish Line: Completing the 290th Half Marathon at the Iron Horse Half Marathon

August 25, 2024; Steve Walters (MM338, DA5, HF21) – The day after a trail marathon, I managed to run a sub-1:42 at the Iron Horse Half Marathon. I was shooting for a sub-1:45 and for most of the race I was on pace for a 1:43. In the last two miles I kicked it into gear to get down to 1:41:26. This is half marathon #290. Ten more to run by Dec 8.
