Jolanta Thorburn (MM15959, DA3742, HF18464) – I was only going to start running the Canadian Provinces later this year, but while visiting Vancouver an ad for Vancouver Half popped up on my feed on Friday and … well twist my arm 😳 😂… I signed up right away! The race was this morning June 25th – which happens to be our wedding anniversary ♥️
Beautiful and scenic course with downhills and uphills which I’m used to coming from Seattle.
The road was closed to traffic and in places where they had to keep it open there were lots of marshals. Fantastic course support with Nuun and Gu. Popsicles at the finish (it was a HOT one today) great swag! ASICS tech shirt and a gorgeous medal.
