Run the Bluegrass

Jamicka Edwards (HF15931) medalmonday Didn’t want to miss it because this was a tough one.

RunTheBluegrass Half Marathon

  • Hardest Half Marathon for me to date
  • Listened to my body and took my time .. Didn’t have any other option because the hills didn’t stop
  • Didn’t train but still finished
Great to see familiar faces and meet new people.
I do recommend Run The Bluegrass. Though it was tough it really is beautiful. Would I do it again? Maybe. It was an easy drive from Indy and there’s so much to do in Lexington and the surrounding areas I’ll make another road trip there soon.
I’m told now that I’ve done Run the Bluegrass, RNR Nashville will feel flat…we shall see in a few weeks! But I’m also told Run the Bluegrass ain’t got nothing on THE RACE in ATL 😳 Guess I better find some hilly streets to run on so I’ll be ready for that!
I still love running. I still found ways to have fun while I ran. I even found the energy to motivate other runners because we were ALL OUT THERE STRUGGLING TOGETHER!
Another State completed and another Half accomplished!
