Double Half Marathon Weekend!!
Saturday – Half fanatic race # 21 1/2 Sauer 1/2 Kraut Half Marathon in Pennyback Park in Philadelphia. Very pretty run through the park with a fun but tough trail twist in the middle. It ends at a Biergarten with free beer & brats (or soda & impossible burger if you’re meat and alcohol free)
Sunday – Half fanatic race #22 Delaware Running Festival Half Marathon. A lot of drama leading up to the race but it ended up being a really nice half marathon along the Markel trail. Had a lot of fun meeting other runners!
Now it’s time to relax and watch baseball since along with 2 great half marathons in the Philadelphia area this Weekend, my favorite baseball team is in town! Go Yankees!
