Luzviminda Villamil –MM 13709 — DA 2873 — HF3889

LUZVIMINDA NOFIES VILLAMIL was born on April 8, 1957 in Dagupan, Philippines, the third of ten children.  She lived an adventurous fulfilling life, and passed away on March 14, 2021. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Cesario Villamil and mother, Corazon Nofies Villamil. She is survived by siblings Chito, Lenore Alejandra, Cesario Jr, Lourdes, Carlos, Celso, Leticia, and Le-Jan, and her devoted husband David Hoyt.

She had a fulfilling career in I.T. but later in life, she was introduced to the world of distance walking/running. After becoming a US Citizen, she visited all 50 states, completing over 400 half marathons, 80+ marathons and numerous other distances.

Luzviminda loved meeting people and hearing their stories. She was always supportive and encouraging to others making friends worldwide. Her smiling, loving spirit will be celebrated by many.

She was laid to rest on March 25, 2021 at the El Camino Memorial Park in San Diego. CA
